SAP – STANDARD ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE

SAP is the Government's Standard Assessment Procedure for Energy Rating of Dwellings. Part L1A for new domestic property requires that a Dwellings Emission Rate for carbon dioxide (DER) is better than the Target Emission Rate (TER) as calculated by the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP).
